Coach’s Game Fall 2025
Fall 2025 BAYFA Coach’s Game: A Hot Day, a Cold Drink, and a Sweet Victory
The Fall 2025 Coach’s Game gave us a story we won’t forget anytime soon. For mid-November, the heat was downright surprising. Instead of the cool fall breeze we usually get at Green Valley Park this time of year, we found ourselves playing under a warm Texas sun that felt more like late September than fall soccer.
But the heat didn’t slow anyone down. And thanks to our event sponsor, the coaches had the perfect way to cool off afterward.
This year, HTeaO of North Richland Hills, located at Davis Blvd and North Tarrant, stepped up in a big way and sponsored the event. They provided every coach with a free, ice-cold tea after the final whistle, making the whole day feel even more special. The owners were out there cheering us on, watching the game, and keeping an eye on the Texas A&M Aggies matchup playing at the same time. So, from everyone here at BAYFA, thank you, HTeaO, for supporting our coaches and our community. Be sure to swing by their NRH location, grab your favorite drink, and tell them BAYFA sent you. And of course, Go Aggies!
This year’s matchup featured two fitting team names: Team Sweet and Team Unsweet, a tribute to the HTeaO theme of the day. Both sides came ready to play, and the match lived up to the hype from kickoff to the final whistle.

Match Highlights
Team Sweet earned a tight 6-4 victory, lifting the BAYFA Coaches Cup in a game full of great energy and standout moments.
A few coaches deserve special recognition:
Coach Chris Smith (Team Sweet) put on a show in goal, pulling off acrobatic saves that kept his team in front. His dives, reflex stops, and fearless goalkeeping gave the crowd plenty to cheer about.
Coach Raj (Team Sweet) controlled the midfield beautifully, keeping the game steady and building the plays that put Team Sweet in scoring positions.
Coach Kevin Bowman (Team Sweet) led with composure, keeping his team organized and focused as the game tightened.
On the other side of the pitch, Coach Zach (Team Unsweet) was a defensive wall. His timing, positioning, and ability to shut down attacks were a major reason the score stayed close all afternoon.
Both teams fought hard, shared plenty of laughs, and reminded everyone why the Coach’s Game is one of the best traditions we have.
A Community That Shows Up
Even with the heat, the spirit around the field was fantastic. Families, kids, and fellow coaches gathered to watch, cheer, and enjoy an event that brings everyone together at the end of the season. These moments are exactly what make BAYFA special. Fun competition, genuine friendships, and a community that supports one another.
A huge thank-you again to HTeaO NRH for keeping everyone cool and refreshed. Don’t forget to stop by their location and show them some love.
Here’s to another great season, another unforgettable Coach’s Game, and many more memories ahead for BAYFA.
