BAYFA Uniforms

BAYFA STANDARD UNIFORMS

BAYFA Uniform Policy

1. Uniform Overview

BAYFA provides each player a complete uniform kit (jersey, shorts, socks) with their Fall registration. The same uniform is used for Spring to reduce costs and maintain consistency.

2. Uniform Issuance

  • Fall Season: Players will receive a complete uniform kit for the Fall season. BAYFA issues new kits for all players each year for league play.
  • Spring Season: Players will wear the same uniform they received in the Fall.
  • All official BAYFA-issued uniforms are provided through Signature Locker.

3. Team Changes Between Seasons

If a player moves to a different team between the Fall and Spring seasons, BAYFA will provide a new uniform kit. Parents, Coaches, or the “new” team’s point of contact will need to place a separate order for the new uniform in these cases.

4. Replacing or Resizing a Uniform

Parents are responsible for replacing lost, damaged, or improperly sized uniforms. Uniform replacements and changes can be ordered directly from our official vendor, Signature Locker.

5. Uniform Colors: All uniforms must consist of at least 70% of a single color to ensure consistency and minimize color conflicts between BAYFA teams.

6. Custom Uniforms (Signature Locker – Level 1 and Level 2)

  • Approval Process: Teams wishing to use custom uniforms (Level 1 – full customization or Level 2 – mid customization based on Signature Locker templates) will be considered approved as long as the team’s “signature locker” is set up by their level’s deadline.
  • BAYFA Logo Requirement: See section 10 below.
  • Qualification Process: To qualify for customization, the team must: 1) register enough players to field a full team, and 2) do so by the deadline for that level (see section 9). For returning teams, requirement 1) is reduced to half the players needed (e.g., for a 9-player team, at least 5 players must be registered). If only one requirement is met, the team can qualify for the next lower tier, provided it meets that tier’s deadlines. Otherwise, the team will default to BAYFA Standard uniforms.

7. Custom Uniforms (another vendor)

  • Approval Process: Teams wishing to use custom uniforms (through another vendor) must obtain written approval from the BAYFA Board before the start of the season. Custom uniforms that do not have Board approval may result in game forfeits.
  • BAYFA Logo Requirement: All custom uniforms must display the BAYFA logo. It must be placed on the left or right chest or on the sleeve, and be approx. 2.5 inches wide.
  • Custom Uniforms are at the Coach’s Expense: Coaches are responsible for the costs associated with custom uniforms.
  • BAYFA-issued Uniforms: Even with custom uniforms through another vendor, BAYFA will still provide your team with a full kit since it is an included part of our registration. Some teams use them as a backup, and some as a practice jersey.

8. Grandfathering of Prior Uniforms

Teams will have until the start of board meeting May 11, 2026 to submit and receive approval for any prior custom uniforms that may be grandfathered in for use during the Fall 2026 season. After this date, all uniforms must comply with the current BAYFA uniform guidelines.

9. Registration and Uniform Ordering Timelines

  • Registration Dates (Fall 2026):
    • Regular Registration: May 1, 2026 – July 25, 2026
    • Late Registration/Wait List: Begins July 26, 2026
  • Uniform Ordering Timelines: To ensure uniforms are delivered on time, teams must be formed at least 7 days before the final registration deadline (July 25, 2026). This allows at least 21 days for uniforms to be processed and delivered to families. Delays in team formation may impact the timely arrival of uniforms, so please adhere to these timelines.
    • Level 1 – Full Customization deadline: May 31, 2026, end of day 1159pm CST
    • Level 2 – Mid Customization deadline: June 30, 2026, end of day 1159pm CST
    • BAYFA Standard: Teams who DO NOT have uniforms ordered starting July 1, 2026, will be assigned BAYFA Standard uniforms.
    • July 18, 2026. Any uniforms ordered after this date are subject to late arrival, including orders for late registrations or players deciding to move between teams.

10. BAYFA Shield on Uniforms

All BAYFA-issued uniforms must feature the full-color BAYFA shield on the left chest, and it must be visible from a distance (approximate size: 2 1/2 inches wide).. This requirement is essential for maintaining team identity and consistency across all levels of play.

11. Failure to Comply

Teams that do not comply with the uniform policy, including failing to display the BAYFA logo or using unapproved custom uniforms, may forfeit games.

Key Dates for Fall 2026:

  • NMCSL Start Date: Likely August 29, 2026 (based on previous years)
  • Labor Day Weekend (No Games): September 7, 2026
