Every January, BAYFA’s Cold Snap Tournament brings families and players together for a fun day of fast-moving 3v3 soccer under the crisp North Texas winter sky. It’s all about energy, teamwork, and a love for the game. With smaller teams, players get more touches on the ball, think faster, and enjoy more action from start to finish.
Open to ages U6 through adult, the Cold Snap welcomes everyone from first-time players learning the ropes to seasoned athletes ready to show off their skills. Kids gain confidence, parents cheer them on, and teammates celebrate every goal. The spirit of teamwork, sportsmanship, and community shines throughout every match.
The sidelines are full of warm smiles and laughter. Families and friends gather with hot chocolate in hand, cheering each play and catching up with neighbors. With good food, friendly volunteers, and plenty of soccer fun, the Cold Snap feels more like a winter festival than just a tournament.
